A shocking story has been reported from Italy 🇮🇹 about a man who disguised himself as his mother for 3 years to collect his deceased mother’s pension.
This 56-year-old man worked as an unemployed nurse.
Hearing about what he did makes you shudder. When his mother died, he hid her body in a ‘sleeping bag’ in the laundry room of his house without telling anyone. Then he put on his mother’s wig, put on makeup, and dressed exactly like his mother for 3 years, pocketing more than $61,000 in pension money.
But the case finally came to light when he went to a government office to renew his mother’s identity card. The officer there noticed this “mother’s” hoarse voice and the stubble on his neck.
This massive fraud was revealed when the police investigated. Later, they found the mother’s body at home.
This is a good example of how low a person can fall because of the love of money.
